Join us in congratulating Rollins College President Grant Cornwell on the recent announcement of his retirement in June 2025 after 10 years of exemplary leadership and dedicated service. During his tenure, Rollins welcomed the most academically talented and diverse incoming class in its history, following a record number of applicants. U.S. News & World Report once again ranked Rollins the No. 1 regional university in the South, with its classroom experience ranked among the top 25 in the nation. Neil Hamilton, Vice President of Market Intelligence for the Orlando Economic Partnership, tells the Orlando Business Journal the influx of international residents has affected the local economy, specifically the labor force. 💫 The future of the Orlando region is being shaped through a 20-year visioning project called Orlando 2045. This collaborative effort, spearheaded by the Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP), with expertise provided by NEXT Generation Consulting, Inc. (NGC), aims to chart a course for the region’s economic prosperity and competitiveness by 2045. “We invite all stakeholders to actively participate in this critical endeavor. As we go through this seven-month process, we’ll be imagining and putting together plans and milestones and thinking about all the things we want to leave to our children and their children," said Tim Giuliani, President and CEO of the OEP. "Without a clear vision, we can be very well-intentioned.
